Woman accused of hitting ex-boyfriend with his vehicle
JONESBORO, Ark. (KAIT) – Police arrested a woman after they said she hit an ex-boyfriend with his vehicle after refusing to leave his home. Craighead County District Court Judge David Boling found probable cause on Wednesday, July 24, to charge 28-year-old Karissa Renee Booth with aggravated assault on a family or household member, a class D felony.
Jonesboro Man Held on $1 Million Bond for Alleged Rape of Minor
JONESBORO, Ark. – A man is charged with a felony count of rape involving a minor in Jonesboro. John Steven Walton, 45, of Jonesboro, was arrested this week for a Class Y felony charge of rape. On Wednesday, July 24, Judge David Boling set a $1 million bond, cash/surety, meaning he will need to come up with $100,000 if he is to be released.

Indiana man flees and shoots at Arkansas State Police on I-30
A man fleeing from Arkansas State Police on Interstate 30 was shot and injured Monday night in Hope, Arkansas. The Troopers were pursuing 43-year-old Joshua Harrison of Richmond, Indiana. At approximately 10:10 p.m., Troopers pursued the fleeing suspect on Interstate 30 eastbound near the Hempstead/Nevada County line. At roughly the 36-mile marker, the suspect driver fired shots at Troopers, who returned fire.
