Las Vegas (KSNV) — It's been five years since a powerful 6.4 earthquake hit Southern California and was also felt throughout the valley. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was reported near Searles Valley in San Bernardino County, about 120 miles west of Las Vegas, at 10:33 a.m. on July 4, 2019.
