West Hollywood Bars to Offer Drug Testing Kits for Sale Under New California Law
Effective July 1, 2024, West Hollywood bars like Revolver, Trunks and Mother Lode are required to offer drug testing kits for sale to their customers under Assembly Bill 1013, introduced by Assemblymember Josh Lowenthal. The new law applies to establishments with a Type 48 license. The new requirement does not impact establishments that serve food with Type 47 licenses like The Abbey WeHo, Micky’s WeHo, Rocco’s WeHo and Beaches WeHo.
