Public health department shares tips to avoid heat-related illness
Heat wave could drive temperatures over 110 in some parts of the county. – As a heat wave with temperatures predicted to reach as high as 112 degrees takes hold for some areas of San Luis Obispo County, the San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department encourages residents to protect themselves from heat-related illness and to check on those who may be especially at risk. This includes young children, older adults, people with health conditions, and people who work outdoors.
