DICKINSON, N.D.- Rocky Football fell in their 2024 season opener to the No. 15-ranked Dickinson State Blue Hawks 42-17. How it Happened. The Battlin' Bears controlled possession throughout the first quarter, keeping the ball on offense for nearly 11 of the first 15 minutes. Unfortunately, neither of their first two drives resulted in points. Rocky's first drive ended in a failed fourth down conversion, with the next drive ending with a 66-yard interception return for a touchdown by Dickinson State's Jayden Heartwell.
Fighting Hawks downed by #5 North Carolina
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – North Dakota soccer suffered its first defeat of the 2024 season, falling 3-0 to #5 North Carolina on a steamy Thursday afternoon from Dorrance Field. The loss brings UND's record to 2-1-2, while the Tar Heels remain unbeaten at 5-0. UNC found the scoreboard in the sixteenth minute as Bella Gaetino scored off an assist by Kate Faasse for the match's first tally. UND freshman goalkeeper Grace Miller, who turned away ten shots on goal, managed to paw the short, quick attempt that finished high in the netting. That would be all the first half success the Tar Heels would manage against the Fighting Hawks who withstood 25 first half shot attempts from the host.

Asphalt overlay project to force closure of downtown stretch of Fargo’s 4th Street North
(FARGO) – The City of Fargo’s Engineering Department announces that a contractor will be completing an asphalt overlay on 4th Street North, from 1st Avenue North to the railroad tracks near 5th Avenue North. The work will begin on Tuesday, September 3, and is expected to be finished by the end of the day on Wednesday, September 4. The project will be completed in two phases:

They have been privy to many of the perks and downfalls of the military family lifestyle. They’ve been through a lot and have a lot of wisdom to share. Minot AFB is blessed to have not ONE, but TWO Wing Command Spouses. Although just meeting a few months ago, the two ladies have become fast friends and have plans for how to bring the base and their wings together.
