Nearly a dozen boys and another dozen previously incarcerated men are involved in this mentorship. They’ve been partnered for the last 90 days to steer teens away from following in similar footsteps.

Homicide victim identified from shooting early Tuesday in Peoria
PEORIA (25News Now) - The Peoria County Coroner said it was a 31-year-old man who was killed early Tuesday from a shooting in which 20 rounds were reportedly fired. Coroner Jamie Harwood said the victim, Quinterius Evans of Peoria, died after the shooting at the corner of West Garden and South Griswold in South Peoria near Manual High School.
