DAVIDSON, N.C. ( QUEEN CITY NEWS ) — Two suspects are wanted for breaking into a house on Friday night, according to the Davidson Police Department.

Around 9:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of 18000 Woodland Trails Drive for a residential alarm. When they arrived, they saw forced entry was made into the residence.

The house had a monitored alarm system and camera coverage that recorded two people leaving the back of the home. The owners were not at the home at the time of the break-in, officials said.

Police say both suspects were wearing hooded sweatshirts and one was carrying a backpack. It was not specified if the suspects stole any of the victims’ property.

Cornelius Police and Huntersville Police units responded to the scene to help with the search. Investigators don’t believe the suspects stayed in the area.

Police are asking residents in the area if anyone saw a suspicious vehicle or persons in the area of Woodlands Trail Drive, Mayes Road, or Laurel Oak Cres. Anyone with information or video footage should contact the Davidson Police Department at policeinfo@townofdavidson.org or 704-892-5131.
