Deputies on manhunt for suspect connected to double shooting in Granville County, sheriff says

OXFORD, N.C. (WNCN) — Deputies are on the search for a suspect in a shooting Tuesday evening that has injured two people, the Granville County Sheriff’s Office said.

Deputies seek the public’s assistance in locating Andre Stephon Jones. According to deputies, Jones is wanted after the shooting that took place on Windwood Circle in Oxford.

The names of the two shooting victims or their conditions have yet to be released.

Granville County sheriffs said Jones is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with the whereabouts of Jones is asked to contact the Granville County Sheriff’s Office (919-693-3213), Granville County Crime Stoppers (919-693-3100), your local law enforcement agency or call 911.
