The trip is part of the UAB School of Nursing’s MAGICCity Health program, a community-based project aimed at increasing positive health behaviors in family units.

The program is funded by the Healthy Tomorrow’s Partnership for Children Program, a competitive grant program that funds community-based projects aimed at promoting children’s health prevention programs and improving access to health care.
