    Birmingham City Schools begin graduation ceremonies

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Monday begins graduation week for Birmingham City Schools as high school seniors prepare to enter their next phase of life.

    UAW vows to return to Alabama following loss at Mercedes-Benz plant

    On May 20, BCS Virtual Academy of Learning will host their graduation ceremony from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Birmingham Museum of Art. Four schools will have their graduation on May 23. Carver High School’s graduation will be from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Huffman will be from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Jackson-Olin will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Parker will have theirs from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

    Ramsay , Wenonah and Woodlawn’s graduation will be Friday, May 24. Ramsay is from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., Wenonah is from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and Woodlawn’s will be from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. All other graduations will be held at the Birmingham Crossplex. For friends and family who can’t attend, each ceremony will be streamed via Vimeo.
