    Radio stations host supply drive for those affected by Center Point apartment fire

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — WBHJ 95.7 Jamz and WBHK 98.7 Kiss, in partnership with the City of Center Point and Center Point Mayor Bobby Scott, have started a supply drive to support families affected by a fire at the Summer Rise Apartment complex in Birmingham .

    The donation drive will run through Aug. 23. SummitMedia’s radio stations are rallying the community to come together and provide essential items for those in need. Those wishing to assist can visit here to purchase an item from the wish list to donate.

    You can also donate gently used items to the following locations:

    • Center Point City Hall: 2209 Center Point Pkwy (M-F: 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. | Saturday: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.)
    • Center Point Recreation Center: 533 Sunhill Rd NW (M-F: 5 a.m.- 8 p.m. | Saturday: 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.)
