Wednesday : Wednesday will continue to be less humid with more sunshine as the area of high pressure sits over the Ohio Valley. An upper-level low will be over Georgia, and it could send a few late-day showers to Eastern Alabama. Otherwise, it will be warm with high temperatures in the upper 80s.

Thursday: The upper-level low will move west from Georgia into Alabama on Thursday. This will make it partly cloudy, and we could see spotty showers/storms. It will be a little more humid as easterly winds return. High temperatures will be in the upper 80s.

Friday: Friday will be partly cloudy, hot, and drier with some less humid air. High temperatures will be around 90. The weather will be great for the first week of high school football.

Weekend Outlook : The area of high pressure will be northeast of Alabama, bringing back southerly winds to the state. Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy, hot, and more humid. However, it is not as humid as we typically see in late August. High temperatures will climb into the lower 90s each day.
