Tomorrow : An area of high pressure will sit over the Tennessee Valley, which will help heat up Central Alabama. We will be sunny with low humidity levels. High temperatures will be in the middle to upper 90s.

The area of high pressure will remain over us on Wednesday, so that means more heat. It will be sunny with bearable humidity levels. High temperatures will be in the upper 90s to around 100.

The high pressure will move northeast of Alabama on Thursday, bringing back southeast winds. That will make it more humid and bring in a few showers. High temperatures will still be in the middle to upper 90s, and the heat index will be between 100-105.

On Friday, the area of high pressure will continue to move east and weaken. This will allow a cold front to move toward Alabama from the north. It will be partly cloudy, hot, and more humid with scattered showers and storms popping up in the afternoon and evening. High temperatures will be in the middle 90s, and the heat index will be close to 105.

Weekend Outlook : It will become more humid all weekend as a cold front stalls north of Alabama. Saturday and Sunday will be partly cloudy, not as hot, but still humid with much-needed scattered showers and storms. Some downpours will be possible. High temperatures will be in the lower 90s, and the heat index will be between 100-105.
