Bessemer woman killed in overnight crash

BESSEMER, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A 59-year-old Bessemer woman is dead following an overnight interstate crash.

The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office said Angela Gayle Dudley was involved in a crash with a tractor-trailer on I-59/20 SB near mile marker 107 shortly after midnight. Dudley’s vehicle was struck in the rear by the tractor-trailer.

She was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash around 12:26 a.m.

The Bessemer Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash at this time.
