Week 1 Alabama high school football schedule & scores

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Week 1 of high school football schedule kicks off Thursday as some teams look to bounce back after losing in Week 0.

The AHSAA Game of the Week features Ramsay (0-1) taking on Clay-Chalkville (1-0) at Legion Field Thursday. Auburn High School (1-0) will host Vestavia Hills (0-1) in a 7A showdown Friday night. Hoover will look to improve to 2-0 after an impressive win against Western Florida last week. The Bucs will face Spain Park (1-0) in a rivalry game at the Met. All games are scheduled to kick off at 7 p.m.
