    11-month-old girl found safe after abduction in Birmingham: police

    UPDATE: The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports the search for 11-month-old Yamilet Moradell has been canceled as of 3:20 p.m. Tuesday. Birmingham police confirmed she was found safe.

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Birmingham police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 11-month-old child.

    3 shot during candlelight vigil for victims at Bessemer gas station

    Police said Yamilet Moradell was last seen on the 4800 block of 2nd Ave. N. in Birmingham. Moradell was taken from that location by a female relative against her parent’s wishes.

    Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is asked to contact police at 205-328-9311.
