    Trans-Siberian Orchestra returning to Birmingham

    BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Trans-Siberian Orchestra is returning to Birmingham in December as part of their winter tour.

    The group will perform at Legacy Arena at the BJCC on December 11. Tickets for the show go on sale on September 13 at 10 a.m. through ticketmaster.com and BJCC Central Ticket Office. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.

    The band’s winter tour kicks off on November 13 and marks 20 years of their rock opera “The Lost Christmas Eve.” According to a news release, the band is also expected to surpass $20 million total in donations given to charity.

    A limited number of specially priced $49.99 tickets will be available for one week beginning on September 13.
