Ms. Pat brings her ‘Hot and Flashy’ comedy show to Birmingham Sept. 21

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Actress, author and Atlanta native Patricia “Ms. Pat” Williams will stop in Birmingham on her comedy tour later this month.

The show will be held at The Lyric on Sept. 21. Doors open at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are still available on the venue’s website.

Williams’ persona is described as “raw, unfiltered and hilariously sensible” by audiences and critics alike. A highlight of her routine pulls from her life experiences as a “former convicted felon turned suburban mom,” according to her website.

The fourth season of “The Ms. Pat Show,” a comedy sitcom based on William’s life, is currently streaming on BET+. Its past three seasons have received Emmy nominations and shattered viewing records for the platform. Williams also has a starring role in “Ms. Pat Settles It,” overseeing people’s disputes in a format similar to “Judge Judy.”
