Autauga County man killed in Chilton County crash

CHILTON COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — An Autauga County man was killed in a crash involving a pickup truck in Chilton County early Saturday morning, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.

Pablo Crews Garcia, 20, of Billingsley, was fatally injured when the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 he was operating left the road and hit a tree. Garcia was reportedly not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the Silverado.

The crash occurred around 5:15 a.m. on Chilton County 5 about a mile south of Jemison. Garcia pronounced dead at the scene.

Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
