    Man killed in Tuscaloosa County crash

    TUSCALOOSA COUNTY, Ala. (WIAT) — A man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Tuscaloosa County Thursday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.

    Michael J. Wilder, 41, of Brookwood, was killed when the 2003 Ford Explorer Sport Trac he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The crash occurred on Lock 17 Road, about two miles south of Jefferson County. Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
