TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Alabama’s starting quarterback, punter and offensive line all earned national weekly honors Tuesday after leading the Crimson Tide to a 42-10 victory at Wisconsin in Week 3.

Quarterback Jalen Milroe, who was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week and Associated Press national of the week Monday, received five more honors Tuesday.

The redshirt junior was recognized as the Maxwell Player of the Week by the Maxwell Football Club, Davey O’Brien National Quarterback of the Week and Reese’s Senior Bowl Offensive Player of the Week. Milroe was also selected as a Manning Award “Star of the Week” and Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award Honorable Mention. He recorded three passing and two rushing touchdowns Saturday.

What is Alabama’s record with Donald Trump in attendance?

James Burnip, Alabama’s top punter, was named the Ray Guy Award’s Punter of the Week. The Australia native punted for 246 yards on five attempts Saturday. Three of those punts were for 50-plus yards, and four of them ended up inside Wisconsin’s 20-yard line. The redshirt senior notched a season-long 64-yard punt.

The Outland Trophy’s Players of the Week honor went to the Tide’s starting offensive line, which consisted Saturday of left tackle Kadyn Proctor, left guard Tyler Booker, center Parker Brailsford, right guard Jaeden Roberts and right tackle Elijah Pritchett. At full strength for the first time in 2024, Alabama’s offensive line recorded 34 combined knockdown blocks.

The offensive line surrendered one sack and one quarterback pressure versus the Badgers. Alabama’s offense registered 407 yards, with 181 coming on the ground and 226 through the air.
