John Talty joins CBS 42 Morning News to talk new book

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A new book is causing quite a stir for its insights into several high profile college football coaches, including former Alabama football coach Nick Saban.

“The Price: What It Takes to Win in College Football’s Era of Chaos,” was co-authored by John Talty alongside Armen Keteyian. Talty joined the CBS 42 Morning Show to discuss the book.

The book details various moments throughout the college football world, including the time Saban called out Jimbo Fisher for reportedly paying his players.

“We’ve come a long way since then, but that moment, for a coach to accuse another of buying every player, is about as strong as an accusation as you could’ve made in college football at that moment,” said Talty
