Women’s Foundation of Alabama hosting event Sept. 26

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Women’s Foundation of Alabama is hosting an event to address workforce shortages and economic challenges that Alabama women face.

The “Unleashed” event will be at Red Mountain Theatre on Thursday. Barbara Pierce Bush, an advocate for global health equity and social responsibility, will headline the event. Bush is one of former President George W. Bush’s daughters.
