Week 5 Alabama high school football schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Week 5 of high school football kicks off Thursday, but some games have been canceled due to the threat of Hurricane Helene.

The CBS 42 Game of the Week is a big-time matchup between two teams who have been atop their region for several years. 4-0 Clay-Chalkville hits the road to face the 4-1 Thompson Warriors on Friday.

Spain Park looks to improve to 5-0 when they travel to face undefeated James Clemens (4-0). After losing an out-of-state matchup a week ago to Carrollton, Parker (4-1) looks to bounce back against Hoover (4-1).
