    Quinton man killed in Walker County crash

    WALKER COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A 53-year-old man was killed early Thursday morning after a single-vehicle crash in Walker County.

    James Davis, of Quinton, was killed when the Chevrolet S-10 pickup that he was driving left the roadway and struck multiple trees around 4:30 a.m. Davis was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger in the vehicle was injured and transported to UAB Hospital for medical treatment.

    Davis was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash. The crash occurred on River Road near Old Baltimore Road. Nothing else is available as ALEA continues to investigate.
