61st annual Bluff Park Art Show planned for Oct. 5

HOOVER, Ala. (WIAT) — The 61st annual Bluff Park Art Show is planned for next month in Hoover, featuring over a hundred artisans.

Organized by the Bluff Park Art Association, the event will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Bluff Park Community Park at 517 Cloudland Drive on Oct. 5. The art show is free to attend and dog-friendly.

The event began as a local fundraiser in 1963 and is now visited by up to 4,000 attendees. Food trucks and musicians will also be on-site during the festivities.

Parking will not be available on the park grounds during the art show. Buses and shuttles will run on a continuous loop to the grounds from Shades Mountain Plaza, Shades Crest Baptist Church, Bluff Park United Methodist Church and Shades Mountain Community Church.
