Vigil to honor young mother killed in Birmingham mass shooting

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — On Friday night, a candlelight memorial will honor a 21-year-old mother who was shot and killed in a mass shooting over the weekend.

Anitra Holloman, 21, was killed in a mass shooting that left four dead and 17 injured Saturday outside of Hush Lounge in the Five Points South neighborhood. The vigil will take place at Birmingham Railroad Park at 6:30 p.m.

Additionally, a prayer ceremony will be held at Hush Lounge for the victims’ families on Saturday at 9 a.m.
