    Cullman man killed in Walker County crash

    WALKER COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A Cullman man was killed in a single-vehicle crash that occurred in Walker County on Saturday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.

    Richard M. McClintock Jr., 42, was injured when the 2016 GMC Sierra Pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck a tree. McClintock was not using a seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was airlifted to UAB Hospital, and on Sunday, he was pronounced dead.

    The crash occurred on Nix Road, about two miles north of Carbon Hill. Troopers with ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
