TUSCALOOSA, Ala. (WIAT) — The City of Tuscaloosa will host its annual “Tech or Treat” to celebrate the fall season with families and children interested in STEAM.

The event will be held at the Gateway Innovation and Discovery Center at 2614 University Blvd East from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 24. Attendees can go table to table collecting candy, similar to a “trunk-or-treat.”

Additionally, city and community workers will showcase activities related to science, technology, engineering, arts and math (STEAM) throughout the venue.

The event is free and open to all ages but children must be accompanied by an adult.  Booth spaces are still available for organizations interested in participating. For more information, click here.
