Goodwater man killed in Talladega County crash

TALLADEGA, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A Goodwater man was killed in a Talladega County crash early Friday morning.

Jeremy Jackson, 49, was killed when the motorcycle left the roadway, and struck a ditch before sliding into a culvert around 1:50 a.m. Friday, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. He was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene. The crash occurred on Odens Mill Road, approximately one mile east of Oak Grove.
