Children’s Hands-On Museum of Tuscaloosa to host October events

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Children’s Hands-On Museum of Tuscaloosa is an interactive museum where children are encouraged to learn through play.

Here’s a list of events that the museum has planned throughout October:

• Family “Fund” Day — Oct. 13
  • This is a free-admission event that aims to raise funds for the Children’s Hands-On Museum. It will include music, arts and crafts, games and snacks.
• Mad Science — Oct. 19
  • This event includes “Dr. Discovery’s Slime Lab.” All activities are included with admission.
• Mad Science — Oct. 26
  • This event is advertised as “Fizzing foam and slimy solutions in Dr. Discovery’s Lab.” All activities are included with admission.
• Halloween — Oct. 31.
  • At this event, participants are encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes and trick-or-treat at the museum. Participants can also take home a museum treat bag. All activities are included with admission.
