Man shot to death over the weekend in Birmingham

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A man died over the weekend in a case that Birmingham police believe was a homicide.

Johndarius Decareious Ward, 26, was found shot to death on the 800 block of 3rd Avenue West at 3:10 a.m. Saturday. By 3:20 a.m., Ward was pronounced dead.

The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the case.
