    Georgia man killed in Calhoun County crash

    CALHOUN COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A Georgia man was killed in a multi-vehicle crash in Calhoun County Friday night.

    George Curtis, 59, was injured when the Honda Accord he was driving was struck by a tractor-trailer. The car then became disabled and was struck by a different tractor-trailer, leaving the roadway and catching fire. The crash occurred around 10:40 p.m. and Curtis was pronounced dead at the scene.

    The crash occurred on I-20 near the 191 mile marker and the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency is investigating.
