Indie acts Joe P, Anna Shoemaker to perform in Birmingham on Monday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — Two indie artists will perform at Birmingham’s Saturn at the beginning of next week as part of their ongoing tour.

A concert experience with musician Joe P is set for Oct. 14. Anna Shoemaker will be his supporting act. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m.

Joe P’s venture as an independent musician started during the pandemic, as his website’s bio states, he “threw himself into writing, recording and producing his most personal material to date.”

He then went viral after posting his material on TikTok, drawing millions of views and gaining over 300,000 followers within months. After the success of two EPs, Joe P’s debut album titled “Garden State Vampire” was released on Aug. 23.
