Birmingham Zoo offering free admission to Hurricane Milton evacuees

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ( WIAT ) — The Birmingham Zoo is offering free admission to families who evacuated their homes because of Hurricane Milton.

Evacuees will receive free admission on Friday, Oct. 11 until Friday, Oct. 18. Visitors will be asked to show the guest services staff a valid Florida license. This will be the first weekend of “Hoots & Howls,” a daytime event that will be held the last three weekends in October.

The Birmingham Zoo is open Wednesday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
