Warm Sunday. Turning sharply cooler next week

Today: After another cool morning, the pleasant weather continues. Expect plenty of sunshine with highs in the middle to upper 80s, making it feel more like Spring rather than mid-October.

This Week: A cold front arrives Monday, delivering a blast of chilly, winter-like air! Afternoon highs hold in the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday, and with a brisk north wind, it will feel even colder. Morning lows plummet to the 40s, and we can’t rule out the possibility for some pockets of north Alabama to fall into the upper 30s along with patchy frost.
