    West Monroe Police requesting assistance in locating a missing autistic man

    WEST MONROE, La. ( KTVE/KARD ) — On Friday, October 11, 2024, the West Monroe Police Department was dispatched to the Quality Inn located on Constitution Drive in reference to a missing person. Officers contacted family members who were staying at the hotel. The missing person was identified as 36-year-old White male who goes buy the name of Samuel Jonathan Fogger.

    Fogger is reportedly autistic and has been diagnosed with schizophrenia and Asperger’s Syndrome. He has a history of walking off and is not capable of self-care.

    Fogger and his family are residents of Arkansas, so he is not familiar with the area. He was last seen on video surveillance in the hotel parking lot at 10:12 PM last night.

    The Louisiana State Police and Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office assisted in an extensive search for Fogger. However, he has not been located and is listed as a missing person in NCIC.

    Fogger stands at six feet tall and was wearing the clothes in the photo where he is standing. If you have any information on his whereabouts, please contact the West Monroe Police Department (318) 396-2722 or 9-1-1.
