Central Alabama crash leaves man dead

ELMORE COUNTY, Ala. ( WIAT ) — A Tallassee man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Friday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports.

Oliver Rezlin Collins, 31, was fatally injured when the Cadillac CTS he was operating departed the road and overturned. The crash happened around 5 p.m. about five miles west of Tallassee on Friendship Road.

Collins died at the scene. Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division are investigating the crash.
