Miami Man Sentenced For Multiple Bank Robberies
MIAMI, Fla. (CW44 News At 10)– Forty-three-year-old Christopher C. Pinkston was sentenced his week to over 13 years in federal prison for robbing three South Florida banks and attempting to rob a fourth during a one-month crime spree earlier this year. Pinkston had already served nearly twelve years in federal prison for a string of bank robberies in 2006 in the Western District of Missouri. Arrest Made In The River Oaks Apartment Shooting
TAMPA, Fla. (CW44 News At 10)–There has been an arrest made in the Shooting at the River Oaks Apartment that happened on September 28. The defendant, later identified as 17-year-old Aaron D Campbell, believed the 19-year-old victim was involved in that shooting incident. The victim attempted to avoid Campbell, however, Campbell located the victim and shot him multiple times. Detectives quickly developed investigative leads and interviewed witnesses who identified Campbell as the person who shot the victim. On 10/01/2021, Campbell was charged with Premeditated Murder in The First Degree & Minor in Possession of a Firearm. Campbell was then transported to Orient Road Jail.

(CW44 News At 10) – U.S. District Judge Virginia Hernandez Covington has sentenced Johnny Ordaz (32, Bradenton) to 12 years in federal prison for possession of fentanyl with the intent to distribute, possession of a firearm in furtherance of a drug trafficking crime, and for possessing a firearm as a convicted felon. The court also ordered Ordaz to forfeit two firearms, 121 rounds of ammunition, and $588 in cash, which are traceable to proceeds of the offenses.

(CW44 News At 10) – Ruben Ivan Fuller, 44, of Port Saint Joe, Florida, has been sentenced to thirty years in federal prison after previously pleading guilty to drug and firearm charges. Jason R. Coody, Acting United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced the sentence.
Two Arrested On Charges Of Armed Robbery And First Degree Murder
PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. (CW44 News At 10) – Detectives assigned to the Robbery/Homicide Unit have arrested 35-year-old cousins Ray Oliver and Corinthian Thompson on charges of Armed Robbery and First Degree Murder. On March 28, 2021, deputies responded to a Seminole mobile home park where 21-year-old victim Adisyn Mudd was found deceased of an apparent gunshot wound. During the investigation, it was learned Oliver and Thompson went to Mudd’s residence to rob her. Investigators say during the course of the robbery, Mudd was murdered. Booking photos of Oliver (left) and Thompson (Right): Through various investigative techniques, detectives were able to identify Oliver and Thompson as suspects. Detectives arrested Oliver on April 1, 2021 on unrelated drug charges and failing to register as a career offender. He was already in the Pinellas County Jail and was sentenced to 26 months in prison for those drug and registration charges when he was charged with the homicide. Today, detectives made contact with Thompson at 3624 6th Avenue South in St. Petersburg and he was taken into custody. Thompson and Oliver are both being held at the Pinellas County Jail where they are charged with Armed Robbery and First Degree Murder.

Homicide Investigation On Franklin Road In Plant City
HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. (CW44 News At 10)– The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a homicide that occurred Wednesday night on Franklin Road in Plant City. On September 29, 2021, at 3:50 p.m., HCSO received a 911 call reporting a man who was found unresponsive at a home on the 8200 block of Franklin Road. When deputies arrived on the scene, they located an adult male in his 40s deceased from upper body trauma. Neighbors told detectives they believe they heard gunshots coming from the residence between 12:30 p.m and 2:00 p.m. “We are asking anyone who was in the area of Franklin Road and Gallagher Road on Tuesday and saw anything suspicious to call HCSO,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Whether it’s a vehicle driving fast or erratically, an unusual sound, or a person who looked out of place, no detail is too small and your information may help us solve this case.” The investigation is active and ongoing.
