BOSTON – Several dogs featured on WBZ-TV's weekly Pet Parade segment have found new homes in recent weeks.

    Pet Parade success stories

A puppy named Pirate from Shultz's Guest host was adopted by a woman named Christine.

Pirate stole the show last week with his big yawns, falling asleep in Tiffany Chan's arms during the segment. He is now living his best life in Hyde Park.

Another dog, Jemma, also appeared on Pet Parade last week. She found a forever home in Framingham with two younger brothers and a canine sibling.

Nancy and Patty, the bonded pair of Yorkies from the Scituate Animal Shelter, were adopted together after their Pet Parade appearance.

They have a new dog sibling and will get to go to work with their mom.

    Buddy Dog Humane Society

Buddy Dog Humane Society was featured on this week's Pet parade.

The shelter brought Mimi and Taytay, a bonded pair of dogs believed to be a mother and daughter rescued from Texas.

Little is known about the dogs' history, but they were rescued with overgrown coats. The dogs were taken to a rescue, and then blossomed in a foster home.

Mimi and Taytay are described as shy around new people, but come out of their shell and are always well behaved.

Buddy Dog believes Mimi is about 10 years old and TayTay may be around 8 years old.
