School bus crashes into home in Skokie; second car also towed 00:21

SKOKIE, Ill. (CBS) — Three people were hurt after a crash sent a school bus into a home in Skokie, Illinois, Friday afternoon.

Skokie police said that just before 1:30 p.m., the bus collided with a car at Howard Street and Lowell Avenue and then crashed into a home in the 4300 block of Howard Street.

CBS Skywatch was over the scene where the bus was seen on the front lawn of the home.

Two passengers in the car and the bus driver were taken to area hospitals for non-life-threatening injuries.

No passengers were onboard the bus when it crashed, and residents inside the home were not hurt.
