McALLEN – A Texas judge ruled against the state attorney general on Tuesday in his effort to shut down a migrant shelter in El Paso that he claimed encourages illegal migration.Judge Francisco X. JOHNSON COUNTY – Police have arrested and charged a woman in connection to the death of a newborn baby whose body was found 23 years ago in a ditch in Johnson County. In 2001, a newborn baby was dumped in a ditch between Burleson and Alvarado. The baby, who still had its umbilical cord, bled out because it did not receive medical care, investigators said. Texas man dies after collapsing during Grand Canyon hike
A man who was found semi-conscious after collapsing on a hiking trail in the Grand Canyon over the weekend has died, officials said.
