Man found shot to death in Farmers Branch was first kidnapped with 2 minors, police say

FARMERS BRANCH – Police in Farmers Branch and Dallas are searching for suspects after three people were kidnapped and one of them shot dead.

Farmers Branch officers found the body of 33-year-old Nilzuly Arneaud Petit on Valley View Lane near the Bush Turnpike at 3:40 a.m. Saturday. Police say they discovered that Petit and two children had been kidnapped hours earlier from an apartment complex in Northeast Dallas.

The suspects then drove to Farmers Branch in a light-colored sedan, where they shot Petit and left his body, police say.

Lewisville police officers later found the two minor victims walking on the I-35 service road. They were both unharmed.

As of the last update from police, they do not know what, if any, relationship Petit had with the other victims.
