    Warm Wednesday in Twin Cities ahead of possible evening storms

    MINNEAPOLIS — Wednesday will feature highs in the mid-80s, an increase in cloud cover and evening storms in the Twin Cities.

    Western Minnesota also has storms on Wednesday with a slight severe threat (2 on a scale of 5) and a marginal severe threat (1 on a scale of 5) just west of the metro. The main threats are winds, hail and a possible isolated tornado.

    There may be a NEXT Weather Alert on Thursday for severe storms, with a slight severe threat for the metro

    On the flip side, Friday will likely be a #Top10WxDay since it will be sunny and dry with highs around 80.

    Rain chances will return on Saturday and into next week.
