ST. PAUL, Minn. — Officials are investigating after vandals tagged the roof of the governor's mansion.

The text "Walz failed" was painted on the air conditioning unit.

The Walz family does not live at the governor's mansion on Summit Avenue as it is undergoing renovations. Gov. Tim Walz, his wife Gwen and son Gus temporarily relocated to Eastcliff , the St. Paul estate that housed several sitting presidents of the University of Minnesota.

The work for the governor's mansion was estimated to cost $7 million but nearly doubled to more than $13 million, as the 1912 home ended up needing more mechanical, electrical and plumbing work to get it up to code.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety is investigating the vandalism.

yep he's a loser all right he's many things it's name them he quit the National Guards before it getting sent over he's a coward. oh football coach a communist football coach teacher 15 times to China bring the red book back to read it to the kids I bet how many did he brainwash. oh out of his own mouth recorded and everything oh he brought a gay and a straight kit and needed what the f*** gives you the right to do that I've checked a lot of rules for districts in schools guess what you don't have a right to. without the parents permission but that's the Communist way anyways they like f****** up families and everything and lying oh a guy came forward something happened when he was a kid in that school with him makes you wonder except for real fake they should cover it up really super fast and you got a question it how many pedophiles alone this year have been nailed in the state of Minnesota and Minneapolis
