    KDKA-TV Morning Forecast (10/28) 03:02

PITTSBURGH (KDKA) -- It's going to be cool and cloudy tonight for the Steelers-Giants game at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh.

Temperatures throughout the Pittsburgh area will be warmer today than they were yesterday.

It's expected to be around 60 degrees just before kickoff, dropping down to the mid-50s by the time the game wraps up.

We will be warmer this afternoon than yesterday when we hit 56° for the daily high. Morning lows were chilly with most places falling to 32° or below.

Skies will go from clear for sunrise to partly cloudy for the lunch hour and overcast by the evening commute.

I have Pittsburgh seeing a high of 66 degrees today with light winds coming in out of the southeast.  Noon temperatures should be in the mid-50s.

A warm front sweeps through on Tuesday morning, bringing our next rain chance for the morning hours.  The peak chance for rain will come from 7 a.m. through 10 a.m.  The best chance for seeing rain will come the further north you are. Rain is not expected to be heavy and won't last very long. The rest of the day will be dry but breezy. Highs on Tuesday will hit the mid to upper 70s.  We will stay in the 70s through Halloween night.

One of the low key most important forecast days of the year is always Halloween.  It's fairly obvious why. The annual holiday is up there with the Fourth of July, Labor Day and Memorial Day for being the most weather-dependent. Labor Day and Memorial Day, there is no weekend where you can at least get out and enjoy one day.

Unlike the 4th, there is a narrow window of time when everyone cares about.  So one could make the argument that the most important holiday forecast of the year is simply the hours of 4p-8p on October 31st every single year.  You remember when it has rained, stormed, been warm, been cold, and even stormed on Halloween night.

This year may provide more weather memories than most as rain jackets and umbrellas will probably be needed.  There will be some instability that could even fuel a storm or two.

We are still a couple of days out from Halloween but it does appear a cold front will roll through our area during trick-or-treat hours.  Rain chances for the entire week are highest on Halloween night.  That's not saying much as there's only one other chance for rain over the week.

I did promise lots of treats for Halloween though and I am not just talking about candy.  Highs on Halloween will soar to the upper 70s.  We may even hit 80 degrees, and if we did that it would be good for a new record high. It will be a little breezy during the day on Halloween so just be aware of that.
