The model has locked in its 2024 Fantasy football prediction for Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams. The 22-year-old is coming off a brilliant college career, ranking inside the top 14 in passing grade and yards per attempt in his final two seasons at USC, according to Pro Football Focus. He enters an ideal situation in the NFL, with his supporting cast including players like DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, Rome Odunze and D'Andre Swift.

Offensive coordinator Shane Waldron is in his first year on the job after spending time with the Rams and Seahawks over the past seven seasons, and he is expected to inject passing volume into the Chicago offense. However, there are still some things for owners to be wary of before drafting Williams, namely his high ADP. He had the luxury of being surrounded by first-round receivers with Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr. at LSU, and prior to that having Brandon Aiyuk and Ricky Pearsall at ASU. Washington is bare at that position outside of Terry McLaurin, and the team adding Austin Ekeler to a backfield that includes Brian Robinson Jr. indicates that the Commanders will attempt to establish the run. Daniels has an offensive coordinator who is familiar with dual-threat quarterbacks, as Kliff Kingsbury previously coached the likes of Caleb Williams, Kyler Murray, and Patrick Mahomes. 2024 Drake Maye Fantasy football projection

The model has also released its ranking for Patriots rookie quarterback Drake Maye. A two-year starter at UNC, Maye led the ACC in passing yards in each of the last two seasons while also showing off his wheels, rushing for over 1,200 yards and 16 touchdowns. However, his numbers took a step back across the board in 2023 after losing two receivers to the NFL Draft. That's important to know as Maye joins a Patriots team that is lacking talent offensively as New England ranked in the bottom five in passing yards, total yards and points scored last season.
