European seasons are kicking into gear and that means that it's now harder to track the Americans in action each weekend. But have no fear, we've got you covered with some matches to keep an eye on, including a potential American derby. Hailing from four countries let's take a look at some things to keep an eye on.

    Check out the matches here:

Brenden Aaronson: Sheffield Wednesday vs. Leeds United

    Friday, Aug. 23 (3 p.m. ET CBS Sports Golazo , Paramount+ )

Brenden Aaronson may have already scored a goal for Leeds United this season, but he's still seeking his first start since returning from a loan spell to Union Berlin in Germany. Looking for consistent minutes after what was an up and down season, Aaronson's best shot at that is with the Whites, but with Daniel Farke looking for new signings, nothing is guaranteed. Sheffield Wednesday games have been open in the early going of the season so if Aaronson does feature, it's a great chance for him to show what he can do in space while pushing for more starts down the road. Add in that this is also a Yorkshire Derby and things could get quite interesting.

Josh Sargent & Auston Trusty: Norwich City vs. Sheffield United

    Saturday, Aug. 24 (10 a.m. ET CBS Sports Golazo , Paramount+ )

Norwich City as a team haven't gotten off to the best start to the new season but Josh Sargent has been in good form with a goal and an assist. Expected to challenge for the Championship Golden Boot after scoring 16 goals last campaign, this match against Auston Trusty and a Sheffield United side that just dropped down from the Premier League will say a lot about the Canaries' prospects this season. Oddly, Trusty hasn't played in the Championship yet for the Blades despite scoring a goal in the EFL Cup. Could this be the match where he gets off the bench?

    Christian Pulisic: Parma vs. Milan

    Saturday, Aug. 24 (12:30 p.m. ET CBS, Paramount+ )

Facing a newly promoted team, this is a chance for Milan to bounce back and if they do, Christian Pulisic will be central to it. Expectations are high for Milan under Paulo Fonseca in what could be a tight race for the Scudetto, and they will need Pulisic to repeat his form from last season to win the league. Pulisic was involved in 20 Serie A goals last season and now, supporting a new striker in Alvaro Morata, he could raise that level this campaign.

Cameron Carter-Vickers: St. Mirren vs. Celtic

    Sunday, Aug. 25 (7 a.m. ET CBS Sports Network , Paramount+ )

Celtic have gotten off to a flying start this season and a lot of that has been down to the strong defensive play of Cameron Carter-VIckers. Teams around the world have been inquiring about the services of the center back, but at least for now, he's still there and expected to perform at a high level. In three matches played so far, Celtic have only allowed one goal and they'll want to keep that trend going facing St. Mirren.

Johnny Cardoso: Deportivo Alaves vs. Real Betis)

    Sunday, Aug. 25 (1:15 p.m. ET ESPN+)

Real Betis could be one of the surprise sides in La Liga this season and Johnny Cardoso's performances in midfield will go a long way. Entering his first full season with the club after joining and breaking into the lineup in January, Cardoso can use that experience to take his game to the next level with Betis. Only 22, he has a high ceiling that playing weekly in Spain will help him reach and considering the uncertainty for playing time among USMNT midfielders, he's doing what he can to stay in the national team picture.
