With NFL rosters now trimmed down to 53 players, it officially means 2024 Fantasy football draft season is in full swing. History has proven that hitting on one of the top Fantasy football sleepers and avoiding Fantasy football busts on draft day is the key to finishing at the top of your league's standings. Last year's top sleepers and breakout players included wide receivers Puka Nacua and Jayden Reed and running backs De'Von Anchane and Kyren Williams, while the top fantasy busts included running backs Austin Ekeler and Tony Pollard.

Who will be the top fantasy football sleepers and breakout candidates in 2024? And which players should be on your list of potential Fantasy busts? Before crafting your 2024 Fantasy football draft strategy, be sure to check out the 2024 Fantasy football rankings and 2024 Fantasy football cheat sheets from the proven computer model at SportsLine .

Last year, the model accurately predicted that Lions running back Jahmyr Gibbs would carry significantly more value than expected during his rookie season. The result: Gibbs rushed for 945 yards and 10 touchdowns while also catching 52 passes for 316 yards and a score. Gibbs was coming off the board in the middle of the fourth round on average but finished as a top-10 running back in CBS Sports PPR leagues.

The same model has a proven track record providing Fantasy football tips, identifying A.J. Brown as a sleeper in 2020 and nailing Jonathan Taylor's monstrous season in 2021. Additionally, it's called past Fantasy football sleepers like Derrick Henry in 2019, Christian McCaffrey and Alvin Kamara in 2018, and Davante Adams in 2017. Anybody who banked on players like those made a run at their league title.

The model is powered by the same people who generated projections for all three major Fantasy sites, and it beat human experts last season when there was a big difference in ranking. The projections update multiple times daily, so you're always getting the best Fantasy football advice.

Now, SportsLine has simulated the entire NFL season 10,000 times and released its latest Fantasy football rankings 2024, along with plenty of sleepers, breakouts and busts. Head to SportsLine now to see them .

    Top 2024 Fantasy football breakouts

One of the 2024 Fantasy football breakouts the model is predicting: Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr.. The former Ohio State star is arguably the most polished wide receiver to enter the NFL in the last decade, and he also happens to come from excellent bloodlines as the eldest son of Hall of Fame wide receiver Marvin Harrison Sr. In his final season at Ohio State, Harrison caught 67 passes for 1,211 and 14 touchdowns. For his career he totaled 155 catches for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns in three seasons.

Harrison is joining an explosive Arizona offense that is expected to be pass-heavy with Kyler Murray healthy. The Cardinals lack a true No. 1 wide receiver, and are hoping Harrison can fill that role right away. When Murray has been healthy, he has proven to be one of the most productive Fantasy quarterbacks in the league.

Another breakout that SportsLine's Fantasy football rankings 2024 have identified: Bills tight end Dalton Kincaid. The second-year pro out of Utah is coming off a productive rookie season where he caught 73 passes for 673 yards and two touchdowns. Kincaid flashed his true potential in the Bills' final two games of the 2023 season, catching 11 passes for 171 yards on 15 targets. With Stefon Diggs no longer in the mix in Buffalo, those numbers will likely become the standard for Kincaid going forward.

Kincaid was a first round pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, and is cut in the same mold as today's top pass catching tight ends. At 6-foot-4 and 240 pounds, the 24-year-old is a matchup nightmare for opposing defenses, and he plays with a quarterback in Josh Allen who can push the ball downfield as well as anyone in the NFL. With Diggs out of the way, Kincaid has a very good chance to develop into Allen's No. 1 target in 2024. See which other Fantasy football breakouts 2024 to pick here .
