The Oklahoma Sooners are set to host the Houston Cougars at Gaylord Family-Oklahoma Memorial Stadium on Saturday night. The Jackson Arnold era got off to a hot start last week, and the Sooners look to keep that rolling this weekend.

In Week 1, Oklahoma smoked Temple to the tune of 51-3. The Sooners took a 34-0 lead in the first half and never looked back. Arnold threw four touchdowns before he was pulled from the blowout win. The Sooners also used their entire stable of running backs to rush for 220 yards and a touchdown.

Defensively, Oklahoma was taking the ball away from Temple all evening. The Sooners intercepted a pair of passes while also forcing four fumbles.

Meanwhile, Houston had a disastrous season opener. The Cougars wound up on the wrong side of a painful 27-7 walloping at the hands of UNLV. Houston's offense was stuck in the mud all afternoon, and the team couldn't get anything going in the air or on the ground.

Quarterback Donovan Smith completed just 15 of his 30 passing attempts for 135 yards and a pair of interceptions, and Houston ended the game with just 38 rushing yards on 26 attempts. Needless to say, that won't get the job done in Norman this weekend.
